As a side note - to those who do not like the taste of refried beans, you will enjoy this meal. I have never been a fan of refried beans, but I LOVE this dish.
Bon Appetite!
Ingredients:1 Onion
1 Tsp Minced Garlic
2 lb Ground Beef
2 Pkgs Taco Seasoning
1 Can Diced Tomatoes with Green Chiles
1 Jar Taco Sauce
2 Cans Refried Beans
Tortillas
Shredded Cheese
Sour Cream
Cook onions and garlic in pan for about 5 minutes at medium heat. Throw in meat and brown. Add seasoning packets and add tomatoes, sauce and beans. Heat through. Then in 9x13 baking dish, pour part of meat mixture on the bottom. Top with some tortillas (I usually use about 3-4, then add another layer of meat. Repeat until last layer of meat is on top and dump cheese overtop. Cook in oven at 350 for about 20 minutes. Cut up and serve. Top with sour cream. (we also like to top it off with Taco Bell Mild Sauce packets we have leftover from ordering there...delicious!)
