“For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,” (1 Timothy 2:5)
Jesus is the one who reconciles us to the Father and He himself stated that salvation could be achieved through no other means but Him.
“Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” (John 14:6)
After His resurrection, his followers proclaimed the exclusivity of salvation as their Savior had.
“And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12)
There are so many portrayals of Jesus out there. We must be sure to explain which Jesus is the one to place our faith in. It is not the Jesus who is the spirit brother of Lucifer. It is not the Jesus who was merely a man who became a god. It is not the Jesus who turns a blind eye to sin.
It is only the Jesus from the Bible that has the power to save. The Jesus who was fully God and fully man, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life and died on the cross for the sin of the world and rose again three days later. He is the only Jesus worthy of our worship and adoration!
When evangelizing, emphasize that one is saved by trusting in Jesus alone. Jesus as He is portrayed in the Bible. He is their only hope. He is the lifeboat that will save from the sinking ship a sinner is on.
