Today, we celebrate the birth of our youngest son, Benjamin. This little guy had a rough start and we spent much time weeping and praying and leaning on God while he was dealing with a grade IV brain bleed and multiple seizures.

But God was so merciful towards us all. I took Ben to the doctor just the other day and the neurosurgeon even said he was surprised at Ben's improvement and how his brain bleed has diminished. He may have been surprised, but we know that the giver and author of life is God and that He has taken care of Ben far greater than we or the doctors can.

It is my prayer that God would be glorified and proclaimed in this little one's life, even at an early age, that he would love the LORD with all his heart and that He would dedicate His life to serving God and ministering to others. Happy Birthday Benny Boo! Mommy loves her little miracle baby!

On a similar note, I am still amazed and humbled when i think of all the prayers for Ben that took place at that time. It was an encouragement to us immensely. What amazing unity we saw when, as a group of believers, many came together to pray.

Never doubt the power of prayer, but more importantly never doubt God. His ability, His motives, His character. He uses all things for His glory and He can do things that no man can do and His love surpasses any sort of affection man can muster up towards another. He is such a great God, worthy of our worship, worthy of our hearts, worthy of our lives! - Elaine

The first night out, all of the CCN missionaries got on the box, but none of us were able to draw a crowd. The final person, Jen, got up there and it was almost instantaneous that a crowd formed. We were able to keep the crowd after that and had many great Gospel conversations!

A few months ago, Elaine and I (Ryan) began praying about expanding the radio ministry. During our time of brainstorming and discussion, we realized that our current living situation and radio equipment would not be very beneficial for new show ideas. Therefore, we expanded our prayers to include a studio space and equipment needs.

Well, the Lord is directing our thoughts as we have begun working on two new radio productions and a new video project. Our home church (Hyde Park Baptist Church) has given us their blessing in these new endeavors and will be providing the space for our new radio studio at no cost to us! (See pictures below)

Our Heavenly Father is so wonderful and all His promises come true! "Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart." (Psalm 37:4) We are extremely grateful for all that God is doing with this ministry and for His abundant blessings. Soli Deo Gloria (Glory to God alone)!

“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened. Or which one of you, if his son asks him for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a serpent? If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him!"
