This month has been a busy month of ministry. God has been growing us as we have increased our outings as a family in proclaiming the glorious gospel of the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Ryan was able, for the first time in a while, to take some time off of work. During that time we planned a short trip to Cleveland to visit some relatives. In addition to this, we were able to minister with some brothers and sisters from the Northeast Ohio area. The first outreach was at Ryan’s old “fishing hole” where he and our daughters shared the gospel. The next morning, we all ministered outside a Cleveland abortion clinic. This was a great opportunity for me (Elaine) to glean some wisdom from a sister who has been doing this ministry for years. It was different than our local outreaches in that there is more opportunity to talk to women at the Cleveland mill than ours. This abortion outreach wouldn’t be our only this month.
Since first seeing Ray Comfort’s 180movie (viewable on YouTube), my husband and I have had a burden to minister at a local abortion mill. It has taken years for this desire to come to fruition, but this past month, we have spoken with a ministry partner of ours and are increasing our abortion outreaches from once a month to once a week. We have purchased materials to hand out to the ladies going into the clinics. These resources vary from showing fetal development to the truth about abortion and more. Included always is a gospel tract and a gospel of John book. Our mission every week will be to not only plead with women to not murder their child, but to share the gospel with them, the abortion workers, and anyone else we encounter outside the mill.
Prayer Requests for this ministry:
Ryan is continuing to minister at the University of Cincinnati. Although his most faithful student has informed him that he will not be returning, Ryan is faithful to continue reaching out to the faculty and students on the campus. There is such a need for the gospel at these institutions as the worldviews being taught are very unbiblical and truth is not seen as absolute.
Prayer Requests for the UC Outreaches:
Most recent, we had our annual Light up the Square outreach. This year went much better than last year. Not only were there a lot more people in attendance than last year who received gospel tracts, but our volunteer count was nearly 20 for this one event! Praise God for laborers and for bringing people to be ministered to. Thanks to the ministry that provided the tracts we needed for this outreach.
God is doing amazing things through His people in Cincinnati. The gospel is being proclaimed. Sin is being exposed and He is being glorified. Thank you all for your prayers. May He continue to use us and may we see the fruit of our efforts as an encouragement for us to keep going.

- Babies would be saved
- God’s protection on our sidewalk counselors
- Great financial needs would be met (We didn’t realize the cost of important resources to hand out at these clinics, but we believe God can handle it)
